Read the text and answer the questions. Mark Twain was an American humorist, journalist, and writer. His real name was Samuel Langhorne Clemens, and he was born on November 30, 1835. He was the sixth child of John and Jane Clemens. He was born in a small village in Missouri. When Samuel was twelve, his father died, and the boy began to work. He learned the profession of a printer. But Samuel wanted to be a sailor and when he was twenty, he found work on a ship. After some time, he left the ship and went to live in California.
